I've stayed at different resorts all over the Cancun area. If you're wanting a resort for attention to detail and personal service and excellence, this is your resort. Each building has its own personal concierge waiting to help you with anything that you need. Check in was effortless. Entertainment was unique and fun. Food was outstanding. What particularly stood out to me with the food, especially at buffet's, was that during outdoor events everything was covered. Restaurant dining was delicious. Do not miss the french bistro called Bordeaux. It was a dining experience trying both unique foods as well as familiars like surf and turf. The beach generally had a lot of sargasm, but in the morning it was definitely beautiful, clear and clean, so if you're doing anything involving the water, I would suggest going early in the morning at 8 o'clock. In the evening is when the beach tends to get worse, but overall, they keep it clean. If you walk down the beach and find somebody with a blue shirt, ask about a personal private boat tour out to see the turtles and snorkel. $45 pp was cheaper than going out with a big group. They led us all around and we didn't have to do any work, but watch everything underneath! The relaxing pool, it's very nice plus they have a ping pong table. Also, walk down the beach and go out by the dive center to the little town of akumul. Not too big, but they may have souvenirs less expensive. This was a trip to remember! Have fun and remember to relax!

Amazing

Loved the setup and constant attentive service that was always present but not intrusive. Many thanks to Antony and Alon Their knowledge of Akumal and great instruction made kayaking fun! Stretching (yoga) in the morning with Malina was awesome! The shows were good. The lady who played the violin outside Rendezvous was amazing!!! The massage by Ms. Valerie was amazing! She was very gentle always asking if I was alright, taking all the tension out of my body. Props to her! Also enjoyed the activities at the beach and the main pool. The rooms were wonderful. All of the restaurants were great but we really enjoyed Oceana and Portofino The chef is superb

I have never been treated so good at a resort ever.

Where do I start?? Great location, great facilities , great excellent staff, fantastic food, entertainment all day every day and a holiday of a lifetime

Had an amazing experience! Especially the staff were so helpful! Jorge- the manager- made our experience top notch! He was such a great man! Food was delicious! Could not use the beach due to algae season but pools were great! Spa was incredible- great service. The only thing we did not like is the their sales manager’s attitude! I think his name was Scott. He was the responsible person of the membership experience. Our concierge Monica was amazing! Always smiling and very helpful! Dont forget to bring your emergency medications (first aid stuff) or toiletries- because pharmacy is very very expensive! I would probably try another Secret hotel and compare. Overall it was a great memory!

The best vacation stay !

Great place to go and relax!! Loved the entertainment as well! Beautiful pools, great food and awesome staff. The beaches would have been great but unfortunately the seaweed was terrible when we were there :( We would definitely go back!
