No elevator which I believe is near standard for older hotels. Room was bare, thin walls. Bathroom was in need of repair, water from shower caused damage to the floor and there were no towel bars to hang your towels.

A fantastic little stay at a local pub! I was pleasantly surprised by this room, high ceilings and lovely wooden floors. The bathroom is small and the walls a little thin, with the rooms close together, so noise can be an issue. The stairs are steep and narrow so would not be accessibility friendly. However the staff were so friendly and location unmatchable for the price!

Was a very good location but room tiny with very tiny windows that did not open. Not much for the price. Only satelite TV which cut out all the time. Wouldn't stay again.

The room was nice and clean with daily turnover service, unbeatable location for the convention centre!

Having arrived in Sydney early in the morning, I knew that I would have to wait until the hotel / pub opened to check in. However, seeing someone in the bar, I took a chance and knocked on the door. Tony (? - from New Zealand) was most welcoming, got me a drink, told me all about the hotel / food options etc. and offered to look after my luggage if I wanted to go out and come back later once the room was ready. The room, which was serviced daily, was basically just what I wanted - nothing fancy, but somewhere to shower & sleep. The breakfast option (bread / butter / jam / honey / coffee / tea / milk all available outside the room) was ideal for me as I had a few late nights & early mornings, so could grab what I wanted when I needed it. I would certainly be happy to stay again. Downsides? Well, apart from the guy in the next room running his shower at 3.00 a.m. and setting off the fire alarm with the steam (then locking himself out of the room, so couldn't turn the shower off!!) the only real issue was that the hotel is on a corner so there was some traffic noise. That said, I was so tired with all I was doing, that it hardly stopped me sleeping. I understand that the hotel was about to change hands and an update to some of the decorating would help, but if I do ever return to Sydney, the Glasgow Arms would be top of my list. Thanks for a great time.

Great location and property- would stay again.

It was close to many things of interest. The free maps available were really helpful.

Staff were great... its a nice pub in a convenient locale.
