Lovely boutique hotel with a grand view

This hotel has the infrastructure to be wonderful, but it really falls short on execution. First, when we checked in our room felt like a hot sauna. Apparently they left the air-conditioning off all day with the radiant floor heating on maximum. Fine, mistakes happen. We asked them to correct it and went to dinner. We were therefore shocked when we came back to find the room the same. Apparently they didn’t check to make sure their adjustments worked. Other shortcomings: the lower terrace bar was closed, there was a nice terrace outside our room but nobody bothered to put seat cushions on the metal outdoor furniture.

The staff of Millstone went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The location has perfect view of the valley. From our room we were able to walk into Pigeon Valley and up to Uchisar Palace. Front end staff Hamid booked every activity our heart desired in a timely manner. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay from start to finish was seamless. Stayed in the pool suite, Which we were sad to leave. Pool water was the warm and a wood fire place in the living space to enjoy the ambiance. It was a bit cold outside so that came in handy. My wife and I visited for 4 days and we had a lot we wanted to experience. The breakfast setup was the perfect fuel for our day, in addition beautiful views out of each window. You will not be disappointed with this hotel a MUST BOOK!!!!

So beautiful and beautiful views

This boutique hotel delivers five-star service in every way. The views are absolutely majestic and surreal — fairy chimneys and Pigeon Valley on one side, Rose Valley on the other. Watching the balloons drift across the sky without even leaving our room was pure magic. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully appointed, with lovely interior design that feels both elegant and comfortable. And the heated floors were an absolute lifesaver — such a wonderful touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. Honestly, if Cappadocia didn't have so much to offer, we could have stayed in our rooms every day. What made the experience especially exceptional, though, was the staff. From the reception team to the lovely gentleman who helped with our luggage, to the wait staff at the on-site restaurant, every single person provided warm, professional, and outstanding service. Even the correspondence before our arrival - which continued throughout our stay - was top level and made us feel cared for every step of the way. Everything came together beautifully to make my stay truly exceptional. I could not have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special time. Millstone Cave Suites is a gem, and I would return in a heartbeat.

Facilities and staff excellent. Beware that you will be isolated and only restaurant within walking distance is owned by the hotel. Food and wine delicious.
