Extremely helpful staff. Very good restaurant. Very historical.

Really central location. Loved the traditional feel of the hotel. The staff were all great and the bar lounge was really comfortable with great drinks.

It’s an old building that needs a little tlc. Bar is exceptional, as were the bar staff. The ceiling in my bedroom leaked a little when I rained however, and the shower needs repairing and resealing. Some of the carpets have seen better days. Overall I feel like the actual room wasn’t as nice as the photos. A mini fridge would go a long way, as would a proper coffee set up instead of putting it in the wardrobe

Had high expectations for this hotel but was let down in every way. Checked into room and once opened door we were hit with a horrible smell. As we continued in the room we found out it was coming from a large wet spot on the floor. We notified the front desk and they never came despite saying they would send support. We stayed two nights and brought this up numerous times despite no assistance. The spot continued to stay wet and smell did not go away. Staff very unhelpful and never greeted you as leaving or entering hotel. Parking states its a 5 minute walk but they failed to notify you that construction closed a bridge for the 5 minute walk so it was actually a 10-15 minute walk. This coupled with concerns with lack of service at the bar made this a disappointing stay. Brought up concerns again at checkout and was met with 'oh' and 'someone was supposed to attend to your concerns', not even an apology. Great location but that is only positive.

Well located, good room, spacious.

The hotel was very nice. It was like a step back into time. The hotel room we had was massive. It had lots of windows and a huge closet. The grounds were very nice and well maintained. The view of the falls up the road was nice and the restaurant, which also had nice views, had good food. The only downside was the rooms don't have air conditioning, which is a bit expected. Would recommend this hotel.

The air on in the room is a little tricky and if you have any mobility issues the shower in the bath could be an issue. Otherwise all was great

Such a great stay in the heart of Cork!

Breakfast was good excellent and the serving staff very efficient
