Staff were amazing and quick when things were needed. More towels, replacement iron for broken one. Valet staff very attentive. The only downside is the nickle and dime charges that should be included in the price of the room, even if you have to raise that in order to have it align with whatever cost is needed. 90 dollars to park with valet. Only able to use the luggage carts if staff do it. 25 dollars per day per room for "wifi, pool and use of gym" but this is mandatory, not optional. The pool has 70% of the seating as rentals. So what is the 25 dollars cover? It just felt like there was a fee or charge at every turn that should be added into an adjusted, single price for the room.

So great, and a very convenient stroll to beach and boardwalk. Room was perfect, very comfy and clean. Staff is so, so nice. Pool also very clean and a fun dj. Would absolutely stay again.

Our room was very outdated. Curtains were worn through. Rooms definitely need an update.

The staff is excellent and ready to help you all day long. Juan and Mike were absolutely amazing and made our trip even more enjoyable with their helpfulness and kindness! The room was clean, the cafe and pub were nice as were the staff there as well. The bathroom is a little small making it truly a one-person at a time use. The beds could use some updating as the mattresses have seen better days. The hotel is very clean and the little gift shop has some of the essentials you may need. The mini fridge was great to have but was small. There is no free parking (anywhere in the area) but we found the cheapest spot just a block away. But, be prepared to park and pay or pay $$$ for valet. Overall, the hotel staff here are amazing and that meant the most to us.

Old property, charming, but lacking some amenities. Room had one plug in for devices, beds not very comfy. Great location and hotel interior is beautiful

Right on the beach. Beautiful hotel, nice pool and bar area. Expensive parking. Better off with the street meter. Walk to anything you need.

Friendly staff great place!

Decent and nice hotel with lots of potential. It is located conveniently to all the places we like to frequent on the boardwalk and Cookman Avenue. The complimentary coffee and water in the lobby was appreciated and the location of the gym and the hours was a plus for us as well. I would suggest to the hotel to provide complimentary beach passes at least for one day for the prices that are charged.

Perfect beachside location, and the pool and poolside bar are excellent. Spacious, comfortable rooms. This was my second time staying at the Berkeley Oceanfront, and I look forward to visiting again!
