We had a good stay. The man at reception was very helpful. The room I had booked was too small so for a bit extra they kindly made up a studio room for us. It was bigger and quite new, and the beds were fabulously comfy. It had a big newly tiled bathroom. The restaurant down near the entrance had really friendly staff and we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast there. The hotel is pretty central. We only stayed one night and didn’t book a car park but found one easily this time.

It was just an okay! One night stay. No hot water to have a shower in the morning and no help for the person on reception duty!
No offer of a discount for not being able to have a shower!

I left my boots behind! Very expensive boots! I was so sad! I rang and the man followed up and found them!!!! And in the process of sending them back! I’m so happy with the service we have had and it’s in such an amazing location! Very warm and comfortable!

We had a great stay. The only thing I would recommend is to have shower gel or soap in the shower.. I know, it’s a small thing but it’s something you would expect from a hotel.

We were initially given a room that was not ready it had not been cleaned from its previous guests
The walls in the hallway were marked and dirty the elevator walls and doors had not been wiped for a very long time by the look of them (this was in both lifts)
The shower glass in the bathroom had streaks down it
The heat pump blew out stale smelling air.
One of the windows had been left open behind closed blinds which we didn't see until we opened the blinds the next morning
The Ramada hotels in other countries are top class hotels very clean in all areas.
The Ramada in Hamilton is not up to the standard of other Ramada hotels and I will not be staying there again
For the price and the selling point being a high class hotel I was extremely disappointed
