I pre paid for a hotel room through Expedia.com using PayPal. When I arrived at the hotel (Oyo hotel Katy Tx) they informed me that they had no available rooms. When asked if I could have something to show that I had arrived at the hotel I was told no but to take a photo of the sign on the hotel office door that was signed by the manager stating that the hotel had no vacancy which I did. I called Expedia right away to inform them that the hotel Oyo had turned me away due to no vacancy and that I would like a refund. An Expedia representative told me over the phone not to worry as I would receive a full refund after he contacted the hotel staff. He placed me on hold while he attempted to contact the hotel. I was in this call for 39 minutes only to be told that the Expedia rep was unable to reach the hotel but would try again the next day. He told me not to worry, this happens all of the time and that I would get my money back as soon as Expedia reaches the hotel. I continued to receive emails from Expedia saying not to worry they were working with the hotel to get my refund to me. In the meantime I provided them with my arrival time to the hotel and the photos I took stating there was no vacancy at the hotel. They basically resold my room to someone else. In the emails from Expedia they kept referring to my situation as a "request to adjust my reservation without penalty". Each email came from a different representative so l would explain to them that adjusting my reservation

This hotel is DISGUSTING. Roaches as soon as you open the door and the most unbearable scent of urine everywhere. I can’t believe this is even open for people to live in. This place needs to be condemned.

First room the toilet wouldn't flush and there was no water in the tank, ROACHES and stains in tub. room was filthy and the clerk was extremely rude. Had to wait 45 min to ck in bc there was no one there. 2 employees arrived and couldn't start because doors were locked and no one was there. 2 room no TV, extremely noisy people kept me awake all night including one man that knocked then sounded on my door only to realize he had the wrong room. No phone to call the rude clerk to tell.

Don't go here, the room looks nothing like the pictures and they have roaches and some sketchy people hanging out. The air conditioner looks unsafe to touch. Exposed wires. 1 pillow for 2 people in a king size bed. Towels were dirty. I felt sick and I can't sleep with roaches crawling all around, it was so bad I checked out and was told they would give me $5 for the inconvenience, what a joke, this is false advertising, I wish I could show the pictures I took.

Horrible nothing like the pictures bed had bed bugs

This was the worst place I have ever been. There were roaches everywhere, and tons of noise throughout the night. Pick anywhere else. My door was already open and smelled like cigarettes when I got there for the first time after getting my key.

The room was dirty and the white sheets were NOT white nor clean. It’s disgusting to think I almost slept there. I’m glad I canceled and looked elsewhere. This complex is also in a really bad area. If you’re cool w it, by all means. But this place will make uoi question your stay, your walk to your car, your belongings in the car or room. No thanks. I’m sorry it might be for some but not for me. But front desk guy was nice and willing to do my refund without any questions once I showed him pics of dirty room.

Ac was old and ugly

This place should be shut down it had nothing in the room not even a remote it looked like it was about to fall down had roaches and a pretty bad all around atmosphere bad surrounding area
