We had a nice size room for 3 adults. The room was clean and the location was central. 10 min walk to La Rambla. 30 min walk or quick bus ride to Sagrada Família.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I believe a theft occurred inside my room. I stayed here from 4–8 July 2026 in Room 511. My brand-new Dior sunglasses, purchased at the airport duty-free shop, disappeared from inside my room. Housekeeping entered Room 511 only twice: 5 July and 7 July. The sunglasses were not left out. They remained inside my luggage throughout my stay, still sealed in their original triple-layer duty-free packaging. Someone opened the packaging, removed only the sunglasses, and carefully repacked everything so I did not notice until after check-out. This was not a simple loss. Someone went through my personal belongings inside a locked hotel room. I contacted the hotel immediately by email and phone and left voicemail messages. I received no reply, no investigation, no apology, and not even an acknowledgement. I have reported the incident to the police. The hotel must investigate every staff member who entered Room 511 on 5 and 7 July and review key-card records, housekeeping schedules. Until this is properly investigated, I strongly advise every traveller to avoid this hotel. Location was prime! Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Lots of food/shopping options steps from the hotel. Felt super safe in the neighborhood. I will definitely recommend or stay again!

Staff at this hotel are super friendly and helpful, dealing with any enquiries or problems . My one criticism would be lack of information. There was nothing in our room to inform us of facilities or lack of! in the hotel. For example, we didn't know if there was room service or a mini bar available( there was neither) We had to ask about the breakfast arrangements and on our first day were gestured to take a seat at breakfast and then left to our own devices, not knowing if they would be taking an order for drinks or special requests. There is a bar/restaurant by the side of reception which is nothing to do with the hotel and it's very nice but is unusual due to it's special menu for Peruvian style food and drinks. So you need to eat out if this does not appeal.

We were shocked with the terrible service and the lack of any attention and respect . It started straight on the arrival when we were waiting at the reception desk for someone from hotel personal. Happily a man appeared at the desk and it took him half an hour to check in two our families despite our prepaid booking was with him in his computer. Would note that he did everything with demonstrated irritation what appeared to be a common feature of most of male personnel. Myself and my young family have just returned from a very enjoyable stay here (3 nights). Cannot fault the rooms being honest. Rooms clean and spacious, beds were extremely comfy, shower was good - what more could you ask for in a city break! I’d happily recommend the Grand Passage to all my friends.

Me encantó este hotel todo estaba cerca el trato de los empleados muy bueno nos trataron muy bien es mi primera vez en Barcelona y me encantó .

The Guitart Grand Passage feels like an old hotel in need of a refurbish. On the plus side the staff was friendly, the location was good and the AC worked very well during our summer stay. But the beds only had sheets--no blanket or duvet, and when we requested a pillow for a rollaway bed, we were told that there were no extra pillows on the property. There was a stain on the sheet, the bathrooms need updating and the room could have been cleaner.

Staff was really helpful and nice, bugs everywhere. MASSIVE COCKROACH. Scared the life outta my daughter. Says it’s the biggest one she’s ever seen in her entire life. Random socks on the coffee table. Wasn’t ours. Random black stains in the bathtub. Blanket didn’t have a cover… never seen before. But I appreciate the staff for solving this issue.
