Beyond expectations, wonderful staff. Great food but depends on the chef on duty. I don’t think this place gets the acknowledgment it deserves.

The biggest positive was undoubtedly the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming and genuinely helpful. The hotel is very tired with numerous ad hoc repairs including tiles with no grout. The bathrooms are reflected in the photos taken (June 2026). The website does do not accurately reflect the hotel’s current condition, which was very disappointing. We experienced several maintenance issues, including a sliding door that would not operate properly or lock, repeated problems with our room swipe cards, a sink basin that did not drain correctly, and towels with holes in them. Each issue was addressed promptly by staff, however this did highlight the overall state of the hotel rather than being isolated incidents. We appreciate the efforts by staff but until the property itself is brought up to the standard portrayed in its advertising, we would struggle to recommend it.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with lovely staff in a nice quiet, calm location

Very helpful and friendly staff

The most perfect relaxing stay at this hotel!! We was blessed with finding this spa hotel, as it was in the middle of our crazy busy holiday so it was perfect to come back to and wind down from the day in our whirlpool room. The staff completed our stay with their constant hospitality, from the waiting staff, to reception, to the spa staff (who give the most amazing massages!). They were all so friendly and helpful in every way. Was sad to leave this place and would definitely stay again - 5 stars!!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The property is beautiful, with a lot of greenery, flowers, water features, and stone. The pool is an infinity pool that drops into a deep rainforest. We had a room with a private balcony that felt very secluded. We really enjoyed the fire dance. The hotel is located easily accessible to downtown Ubud with amenities on the street without being smack dab in the chaos and traffic. Particularly for the price, this is an incredible resort, and we look forward to coming back. My boyfriend also says the samosas were the best he’s ever had.

This was our second visit and we were suitably impressed during both. The suite was well appointed and overlooking the valley was very peaceful. The spa services were incredible and we particularly enjoyed the cooking lesson on site with the head chef. (Highly recommend ! )

This hotel is fantastic, stunning decor, great location a ten minute drive from the village centre. The room was better than I had expected, everything was great, the bed was comfortable, amenities were excellent. May be worth mentioning that you may want to bring your own hairdryer. The terrace overlooked a small pond which was lovely. The restaurant served excellent food. The gym was very good and so was the morning yoga session. The pool is small but beautiful overlooking a forest. I arranged a private tour which was a brilliant way to see as much as possible during the short time I was there. The staff were welcoming, polite, friendly and just absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this hotel and I will most certainly return.

Amazing stay! Staff is so nice. They’re extremely helpful & will assist you right away. Everyday they greeted us & sent us off with a good day when we hit the town. Room was spacious & clean. Would recommend! 10/10
