Nice people

The hotel was advertised as non-smoking but the room had been smoked in. The filter on the a/c was disgusting (we checked that to see if we could improve the smell). There was no trash can in the room.

Having it promoted on Expedia was very deceiving, we trust Expedia and have been booking our hotels/flights through them for years now. this property should not be promoted on any website. It is right next to the highway, very loud during the night. we did not feel safe, it was extremely dirty inside the room, the floors had some moist covering, it looked like it was coming from condensation but it was dirty at the same time, we couldn’t walk without shoes on. The smell inside the room is horrible, we were coughing regularly. It didn’t feel safe/healthy to breathe inside that room. We tried spending the night there because it was so late and we were tired, but just couldn’t so we booked another hotel and had to leave. When we went back to the hotel the next day to give the keys back we told them that we couldn’t stay there because people are smoking in the adjacent rooms and the environment was just not healthy, they said they don’t do refunds. I expect Expedia to reimburse for this booking, because it is not up to standards by any means

Staff was courteous, room was not as clean and run down, sink was clogged and reported to front desk which they said maintenance would come the following morning, checked out 4 days later and never came. Also no hairdryer or iron incase you need that nor shampoo just 2 bars of soap

For the price is okay. It could use better cleaning. Elevator feels like is going to break. Staff is very friendly. More blankets will be better.

We stayed here after a Royals game on our way to St. Louis as a quick night stop. I have never wanted to leave a hotel before checking in. The parking lot was full people that apparently live there full-time. there was stuff smeared all over the floor in the bathroom on the counter in the kitchen. it was the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in. Really sad too because someone put money in it at one time. It has a potential to be beautiful, but is not maintained at all and the clientele is living there. We didn’t even shower the next day because our bathroom faucet was missing a shower button just a screw.

Waited 30 mins to check in, didn't have a remote, there was bugs, nobody around for kore towels.
