Very convenient to train station. Walkable to many parks and restaurants. Quiet and well maintained.

The staff was very helpful. what l did not like is that they do not have laundry machine for guests.

Great staff, spacious room with nice amenities-loved the night gown & location.

Best breakfast buffet, excellent location, next door is the station and undercovered walkway is great in the rain. Everything is perfect but no onsen and room is small compared to size of the hotel.

Our room was unbearably hot. Despite the aircon being turned off, a waft of hot air kept coming in from the vent. We opened the window but that did not help and it was noisy from outside. The staff basically said “that’s how it is” but did arrange a device which blew air over ice cubes. Not effective and noisy. It was a most unsatisfactory stay. We did not get a good sleep on both nights. Very poor and uncomfortable performance from what should be a top class hotel. Tonight we are staying in a budget Route Inn at Sakata and it’s very comfortable by comparison.
