We loved this hotel. Great views from our balcony. We were able to walk to everything from this hotel.

Everything was great. I enjoyed my stay.

Loved this hotel. Centrally located. Lovely roof top balcony, open 24 hours a day. And, in spite of all the road construction in the area, the room was amazingly quiet.

The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring Porto which was a real bonus considering the amount of walking we did. Our room was very spacious and although we overlooked the main square where there was lots of work going on, pleasingly this did not disturb us. Breakfast was buffet-style and plenty to choose from…we enjoyed that. The hotel has few other amenities so is more useful as a comfortable base for getting out to all the fantastic bars and restaurants in the city. The staff at breakfast were pleasant. Reception staff always greeted us with a hello, but little other interaction unlike many other hotels we have stayed at. That said, our welcome on arrival, and on leaving were perfectly fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved our visit to Porto.

The One Shot Hotel was a perfect base for exploring Porto. Many sights are within walking distance and even though there is major construction in front of the hotel, due to expansion of the metro, it is quiet at night. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast guy, who told us about the wonderful Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art—which is less interesting than the fabulous park and Tree Walk surrounding it. The One Shot has a delicious breakfast, with the ubiquitous custard tart (pasteis) served warm! The breakfast room has a marvelous view of the old town and you can eat on the terrace in fair weather. The rooms and common areas are well-appointed with vintage furniture and photographs. This isn’t the fanciest hotel but it is one of the most comfortable. Loved the pillow selection too!

Great central location, walking distance to everything. Room was well appointed, very clean and a good size. Our room had floor to ceiling wood shutters that helped block out street noise. We were there early May and the adjacent square was under construction as well as the nearby train station. This did not impact our stay at all. Would highly recommend and advise to enjoy the breakfast on the top floor.

The location is excellent within walking distance to most things. There is some construction going on close by. We found it a little noisy at night.
