明洞梨花酒店 (Ehwa in Myeongdong)

Great hotel close to Myeongdong area, about 5-10 min walk. Hotel is on an incline uphill, luckily not too far from the 6015 Euljiro 2 bus stop from Incheon. Single rooms are compact, typical of budget accommodations in Asia, but the bathroom configuration is particularly tight for getting in and out of the toilet and shower. Air conditioning works well, and the fridge in room is welcome, as well as the water dispenser in the hallway. The breakfast is a particularly nice perk, while it’s a simple continental breakfast (with cereal, bread, coffee, juice and eggs), it’s a welcome start to the day.

The room was spotless, which I appreciated. The breakfast was simple but great to have in the morning, especially the coffee. Great central location in Myeongdong for cafes, buses and convenience stores, but hard to get a taxi. The room could use some hooks or hangers, as it was hard to open more than one suitcase at a time.

Nous étions 2 et la chambre était propre et comfortable malgré sa petite taille. Tous les employés que nous avons rencontrés étaient accueillants et nous ont aidé quand nous avions besoin. Le déjeuner est simple mais délicieux étant donnée que les restaurants et cafés ouvrent plus tard dans la matinée. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est parfait, très central pour les choses à voir et accès très proche au transport publique.

The Ehwa in Myeongdong is a good hotel and the location to Myeongdong was perfect. The staff was friendly and answered questions as I went along in my adventures in Seoul. My room was perfect for my stay and clean. Only word of caution, the hotel isn’t on the street so when the taxi stopped, I was told to walk up the hill to the entrance. The breakfast isn’t what I’d consider continental but it was available.

Amazing experience! Staff so friendly and nice. Hotel room clean and comfortable definitely will stay here again.

More like a hostel than a hotel. Breakfast is white bread, sweat cereal with synthetic milk that doesn't need refrigeration and a nasty boiled egg. Only stay there if you must stay near myeondong for less than $200. If you stay on the south side of the Han River you can get very nice hotels with real breakfast for less than$100. Subway is great

Room was inaccessible, my son with disabilities had to go to 2 flights of stairs to get to the room. The bathroom was not set properly for guests, I found cacaroches walking in the bathroom and room. Had to book another and leave early. Expedia refunded my unused nights.

Rooms small but adequate, efficient A/C. Free basic breakfast, great location, good value

Excellent location however room is way too small. Like really small. You’re taking a shower, which is a handheld nozzle and you’re bumping against the toilet. You can’t even turn around comfortably in the bathroom. Room is just too small. Wi-Fi excellent. Did not eat breakfast. Will not go back because of size of the room
