Our room’s bathroom had quite a section of black spots on the wall above the shower. My partner was already asleep when I noticed so I let reception know in the morning. They moved us to another room but the new room was smaller and not as nice. We are seniors so I was happy to not be in that room but everyone I talk to now asks if we were compensated. We were not. Our booking included a bottle of wine. I’d forgotten about that and asked reception the next day which they got. What would have happened if I had not asked? We splashed out on The Sebel thinking it would be high quality & good service, but unfortunately in our experience, it was not.

Room was nice but bathroom was a little dirty, breakfast was not what we expected but was still fine, great location and nice staff

Hotel was well located and room was reasonably well appointed. No room service or on site restaurant. One of the staff was fairly rude to me as I answered the door to her holding my phone (not speaking on it, I had interrupted the call to speak to her) but the front desk staff were very nice.

A bar or a restaurant would have been nice. the hotel and the room was perect Will stay there again.

Nice Hotel close to the Theatre Royal. Appreciated the upgrade to a King room. Shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The Metro and the Light Rail were both out of service. Walking distance from St James Station. Not much open around the area on a Sunday morning. Breakfast was in a little Cafe near the back entrance to the Hotel. The Verandah Bar is nearby for Lunch or Dinner.

Great location recommend

The room was clean and the staff friendly. The hotel does not have its own kitchen, so breakfast is eaten at other venues. Weekday breakfast venue is sumptuous, but weekend venue is disappointing.

No food on offer. I was advised on signing in there is no food available for dinner or breakfast as it was sunday. I was nit advised of the disable exit to the carpark or entry to the building. Pretty poor standard.

Good central location. Room was modern

Excellent front desk staff. We were upgraded which was a nice surprise. The teaspoons weren't cleaned and pillows weren't comfortable, but overall it was good.
