Set in a beautiful, peaceful location, this was a wonderful place to stay. Although we were only there for one night, our room was lovely and ready for us on arrival. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A delicious breakfast was also included, which was a great way to start the day.

It’s a long time since we’ve stayed in a HI and nothing has changed. The weird bathroom door arrangement! We stayed on a very warm night and didn’t receive any cooling from the aircon so a very uncomfortable night was had. Bed also not made for taller folk. Breakfast reasonable and adequate. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Only there for the night but comfy bed blackout curtains. Only downside the room was hot as there was no aircon/broken probably due to the excessive heat thats been around, but there was a fan which helped. Breakfast was buffet style so cant complain as you get what you want. Overall good experience.

We had a very friendly welcome and check in. The room was dated and very warm, after adjusting the aircon thermostat successfully (we thought), we went out and returned a few hours later to a temperature that had gone down just 10degs (to 25.5). We tried several times to adjust, kept putting in a lower temperature, it was accepted but did not change. It was too warm and uncomfortable to sleep with the duvet over us .. we had deliberately chosen a hotel with air conditioning due to the heat wave. The aircon in the bar and restaurant was effective and much cooler … Breakfast was ok, bacon was burnt to a crisp and rock hard, marmalade had run out but after asking it was quickly replaced. Staff helpful and friendly.

Good location with canal walk. Good value for mobey.

Room small but clean. Unfortunately room very hot and air conditioning not working in room which made sleeping not very comfortable. Staff stated air conditioning currently not working in any room at present time. Breakfast was good.

Staff member Gabriel was amazing on the night shift! We had just come back from Wembley and with the trains being delayed the food we had ordered arrived at the hotel before we did! However, when we did arrive, Gabriel had accepted the order for us, kept it safe and provided us with some ice so we could have cold water to drink given it was a hot night. We are so grateful to Gabriel and his help, he is a testament to your hotel.
