It was a nice place in a great location.

Room was very clean. The bathroom was small and a little cramped, but well stocked with very clean towels, etc. Bed was quite firm but still comfortable. On-site Burger Theory Restaurant was closed at 7:00 pm but nearby restaurant was good. I would say we had a good stay at a great price.

I booked and prepaid a standard King, and on arrival was told they were out and was given an accessible room, which I did not want. The receptionist (Veronica, I believe) let me know she didn't see the difference, as it's the same-size bed. I let her know that I did not spend my money to feel as if I am in a hospital or nursing home. If I needed it, I would have paid for it. I kept being told how they were full, but my thing is I prepaid, so if they were full, then they put someone else in my room. I offered to even pay the difference to be upgraded and was told I couldn't because I prepaid, and so I asked if I could be upgraded for the inconvenience and was told there was no inconvenience because i could just take the handicap room. I called Expedia to be transferred or refunded due to my room not being available, and when Expedia called, nobody at the desk would answer, so I was stuck with it. I will never book Holiday Inn again.

Do not prepay for the breakfast it is not worth it and they very rarely have the buffet open

Hard to believe paying as much for the room as you have to and then being asked to pay for breakfast as well. No signs posted either, someone stopped us before we started making our plates and asked us if we paid for our breakfasts.

What you would expect clean and nice people and building.

1. The front desk staff was very accommodating and patient. However, our body soap was empty and when they cleaned the room they didn’t refill it or give us new washcloths. The fan was broken in our bathroom. At some point our room key didn’t work and when I went to the front desk to get it replaced there was another customer at the desk with the same issue. Again, the amazing staff resolved this issue quickly. Lastly I saw a bug( roach?) in our bathroom both nights. We were on a very high floor so they didn’t just crawl in from the outside. The company needs to invest in hiring more staff and extermination.
