Clean room. AC doesn’t get very cold

The hotel was gross. Cockroach in the room. Moldy smell in both rooms we experienced. Stained, smelly carpets. Hairs on bed sheets. Depressing decor. Creepy vibe. So experience for such a terrible place. Staff were lovely. But everything else was so bad.

To start, we waited nearly an hour for the shuttle as the reception did not tell us it only runs once every hour. We would have walked the 10 minutes if they would have told us. This schedule was posted in the shuttle and at the reception desk so they should have conveyed that upon our call for pick up. We were then placed n the top floor at nearly the farthest point from reception as well which did not make sense when the hotel was not full. The room was one of the worst I have stayed at across the globe. Very old, not well cleaned and maintenance has certainly been deferred. The only highlight of this stay was the local singer (band) during dinner. She was great. I would not choose this hotel again nor recommend to anyone else.

Wonderful place, clean, safe awesome

Tiny room, not great beds but close to the airport

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. One of the beds had sheets covered in hair, which was unacceptable. The bathroom door opened inward and hit the bathtub, making it inconvenient to use. Breakfast was very limited, and guests were not allowed to eat in the dining room—they had to take their food back to their rooms. We found it very odd that dining in the breakfast area wasn’t allowed, especially given the limited breakfast options.

The place is cheap for Hawaii and is an airport hotel, but I somehow expected it to be more upscale because of the Wyndham name. It was a little rundown in some ways (e.g., the elevator was dark and had stripped off flooring). It also charged separately for parking, which was expensive (just a few dollars less than parking at a hotel on Waikiki Beach), and it was sometimes difficult to find a spot. We were traveling as a group of four, and I thought my reservation said it included breakfast, but it turned out to be only for two people. And even then, it was takeout and not in the dining room. The airport shuttle service is nice, but that's fairly standard.

Good enough for a one night stay

I made the mistake of booking a place in Waikiki and regretted it immensely, so I was fortunate to be able to get a room here for my last night there. The staff was welcoming and respectful, with a sense of humor. The room was clean and comfortable and I slept well. I also like that it's a smaller property in a not so busy area.
