The hotel is dreadful - 6 nights of expensive hell. It was so bad the team granted me a rebate - only 15% but an indication of how bad it was.

An I ionic hotel, which supposedly has been refurbished???
The wallpaper on the ceiling was hanging off, and the air conditioning did not work, the hotel provided a fan.
I’m a proud Mancunian & stayed there many times. I will not stay there again. Shocking!

Beautiful and Hygienic Hotel but feels worn out. Some rooms are not at same level as the elevator and one might have to carry the heavy luggage 6-8 steps over stairs on the floors (happened in my case). Some rooms are situated at kind of mezzanine level of each floor. The AC ducts are very old and there's quite a bit of dust flows out throughout hotel including inside rooms. Which is visibly clear on all dark surfaces of the wooden furniture. Breakfast is exactly same as days. If you have business at the convention center, it is the most convenient hotel.

Not a bad stay, I think the rooms could look into being refurbed, we did only have a basic room but some of the drawer handles were loose, the paint was peeling and the toilet roll holder was too loose to keep the roll on. Very comfortable bed and over all the room looked smart - just some work on the finer details.

The property has a very attractive lobby area.The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming.
The pool whilst small is nice and warm and is in a relaxing setting.
The property is in walking distance to the shops and I would stay again.
