Though we enjoyed our family trip as our boys visited Galveston beach for the first time, our experience with Holiday Club was lacking. For some reason, the master bathroom toilet was left uncleaned with old dried up feces and urine. The most devastating part was almost half of our trip was spent without power. Upon checking out, the power was still off and we were left with wet clothes from the washer and had to find a nearby laundry mat to dry our clothes. Though the staff responded when questions were asked concerning the power outage, it would have been nice if they sent out a message to their guests informing and updating about the issue. Overall, our visit was still memorable due to thebeach, spending time with family and flexible boys who are easy going and didn’t complain when we were without power. I’m not sure if this is something that happens often, as this was our first visit to this location, but we’ll have to reconsider in the future where we lodge when visiting Galveston in the future.

Everything was nice just as expected. Great activities for the kids on site. Pool was nice, not too deep for the kids. Loved the villa. Very spacious.

The hotel is clean, and the location is close to Galveston attractions. The amenities were lacking and most activities were only available during a short window. No elevators made it challenging to carry luggage.

Everything was amazing the only thing was that there were no elevators to get to the different floors. Staying in the third floor had an amazing view but the seven stair cases we had to walk up and down was no joke. But over all besides that the place was clean well maintained and they even had great outdoor games for the family .

We had a great time and would love to come back again

Advertised as ocean view and ended up getting island view

Overall, the hotel is great. We had a little hiccup the first night when pulling out the sofa bed - We discovered that the underside of the sofa bed hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was a ton of crumbs and little critter carcasses on the mattress. We also discovered a few dead tiny roaches on one of the mattresses in one bedroom. The hotel staff were super kind, however, and did come and sanitize the next day. The rest of our stay went off without a hitch - And I would definitely stay here again, just double triple check your mattresses.

1- You will have to pay for every single game at Game Room 2- THE POOL WAS TERRIBLY DIRTY 3- If you need bed sheets you will have to visit Front Desk at least 3 times

Clean property and staff was great. Infinity pool is great but had to pay for a Cabana since we stayed at the Villas across the street…. Only down side.
