Overall good stay, not a very modern hotel, but worked for the evening

Room was clean. I didn't like that they didn't tell me about the complimentary breakfast.

We called the hotel as directed by check-in policy to let the hotel know, we would be arriving after 1am - Was told Hotel shuttle was not available to us after midnight unless we used the park and fly - ? Park and fly would have already been paid for…. I attempted to cancel our night and rebook at another hotel but our room was not refundable. So we also had already paid. Arrived at the hotel after paying $34 for taxi and asked about this again. Well- actually - a different person replied - the shuttle was not available for us as “we booked through a third party”. If we had booked with Holiday Inn directly - the shuttle would have come for us when we called. Or the hotel would pay for an Uber. Because we used Expedia we were not afforded that amenity. $34 dollars for a taxi.

Room was clean but in rough shape, carpet was matted and deformed. Staff was excellent and the helpful with arranging shuttle.

The check in was very easy, the only thing we didn't like is that you now have to pay for a parking pass. You would think that if you stay in a nice hotel that parking would be free, well only if you are a Wyndham rewards member. You also have to tell the staff the night before if you want your room cleaned.

Arrived and checked in to room only to find it smelled like weed. Went to front desk and young lady was very helpful and got us to a new room. Beds were less than desirable but we managed. The breakfast was a joke! Got down about 8:15. Everything was empty and dining room was awful. Meanwhile had to sit and eat cold food while listening to 3 staff at front desk loud and obnoxious. Meanwhile one member of the food staff ran to try to keep up. If you offer complimentary food then be prepared. Last time we will darken the doors of this hotel. Not to mention damage to our tires on vehicle outside.

Three night stay. Everything about this hotel was excellent except that our room smelled like a vacuum cleaner’s dust bag. Dirty. The room didn’t look dirty, but the carpet made our bare feet dirty, and that smell was awful.
