Very basic for the price. Nice size rooms. Smell of sewage throught the ground floor and a little on second floor.
Pillows were awful/flat and need replacing, and you need to know that there are two nightclubs directly opposite the hotel. The noise at 3am was horrific and woke us up, and carried on for almost an hour. No air con throughout the bar, and no music, so very quiet and devoid of any atmosphere. I could smell urine in our bathroom, which looked clean, but was very unpleasant. Staff at reception weren't interested when i informed them of the above, and suggested I email the manager.

The Manor House Hotel exceeded our expectations despite the age of the house. We like the shower with good water pressure and the use of the lift. Breakfast was a treat everyday. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We booked this place because we didn’t have a car & we were relying on the train & buses to get around. Would highly recommend!

Rooms clean staff friendly and knowledgeable. Brecfast very good. Situated edge of City therefore limited parking space. Enjoyed short stay.

Great location but rooms very basic and a bit tired. Ok for a short stay.
Cant comment on breakfast as there was a powercut and so no breakfast. This was a street wide issue
