Great place if you just need to shower and sleep. Staff speaks english. Clean and sufficient. Great location!

Stayed in a private room with a window (that opens!) and private bathroom. Everything was great. Relatively quiet, open-air rooftop cafe, and you can't beat the location. We plan to stay here again.

I enjoyed the location. Very tourist rich neighborhood.

Nice place but a bit pricy for what you get. Mattresses very hard. No wifi in the rooms. Staff extremely nicz and helpful and fluent in English.

No kitchen No microwave or heating stove top, but they do have the rest areas. Hot water available. Internet only available at first floor. Not really convenient.

No AC, septic was broken, whole place smelled like sewage

We had a great time in Beijing. Peking Hostal was perfect for our needs. I was with my 2 kids. The hostal was located on the edge of a great hutong very close to public transportation,as well as walking distance to the lama temple,the bell and drum tower. The hostel was clean and comfortable aside from our bath had a horrible sewer smell. The staff attempted to remedy but had no success. We were in room 101, I would avoid this room.

Location great but wifi was not great at all. Staff lovely.

Homely, flowers everywhere, comfy couches, excellent good, great location. Shared room tiny but that's central Beijing.

Great location, close to metro station. Nice and lovely cafe and rest area in the hostel. Hot and cold drinking water available in the lobby. Hair dryers and sinks available in the hallway. Locker in the room, provided with lock and key. Bathroom is clean. Overall, the atomosphere is warm and convenient to downtown.
