We just wrapped up a fabulous stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Villas in San Antonio after spending the previous week at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa nearby. The difference was night and day. From the moment we arrived at the Hyatt, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and helpfulness that continued throughout our entire stay. The customer service here is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and proactive in a way that made us feel truly welcome and cared for. It was such a refreshing change after our disappointing experience at the JW, where the friendliness and overall service fell far short of what we expected. The resort itself is beautiful, with a relaxed Hill Country vibe, spacious and comfortable rooms, and fantastic amenities. We loved the pools, lazy river, and the peaceful grounds—everything felt well-maintained and inviting. Whether you're here for relaxation or family fun, this place delivers. We left much happier than when we arrived, and we’d happily return (and recommend the Hyatt over the other option in the area). Thank you to the entire team for turning our trip around!

We had a great 3 nights of vacation at this property. My 5yr old daughter had a blast enjoying the lazy river and the warm pool, and so did I! It was great to have the pool set in a natural setting under trees, etc - beautiful experience. The lagoon was great too. I liked that they put together so many activities, especially for kids, and shared an itinerary of events for the whole week - it made it so much easier for us to plan our days. The room itself was very comfortable…we enjoyed the balcony with views of the greenery around. We had a wonderful lunch at the Springhouse Cafe one of the days. Since we were vegetarians we didn’t bother much with the other restaurants. But within 10-15 mins driving distance there were a few good options. I loved that all the staff badges show where they were from. I thought that was a great touch and allowed for warm conversations and made the interactions personable! Overall, it is an excellent property. It is a no-brainer to stay here especially if you have kids. We would gladly recommend this to anyone, amd would love to come back here!

The weather didn’t help but we did enjoy the swimming pool at night and the jacuzzi. Found the are very dark tho, not enough light around but very nice full of trees.
