Beautiful quiet boutique hotel. Great location close to Lake Geneva as well as to the metro. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well - especially on this heat wave!

Coming from the train station, it was a quick walk (all downhill) to get to the location. We could have taken the M2 metro as it stops right next to the hotel. Room was very nice and larger than expected. Overall, it was a good stay.

Second time staying here. It is a nice location, close to the metro and convenient to Lake Geneva.

Perfect location to walk to everything but still quiet at night. Staff were kind. Beautiful city in general.

The hotel is very conveniently located next to the metro but it was a four minute downhill walk from the train station. It was also a very fast few minutes walk down to Ouchy and the lake. A few steps away was a cafe and a Migros market. The room was very nicely decorated and had a fridge and equipment for making coffee. It was quiet at night. Within two to four blocks there were many great cafes and restaurants to choose from. We loved Cafe Grancy and the Sleepy Bear cafe had great coffee and croissants. The staff of the Carlton were exceptional! Very efficient check in and very thorough on information. Really appreciated that. They also gave us free transit travel cards and it was very easy to get around. I would stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation

The Hotel felt very old world but with modern conveniences. The room decor and breakfast room were both lovely. Every staff member was very pleasant. A big plus was the proximity to the Metro. Just around the corner in both directions. Easy to get to Ouchy or to the old city/ train station in just 2/3 stops. Would definitely recommend!

Friendly reception staff. Room was clean, good housekeeping.

Great staff. Older but and clean hotel with decent size rooms with small balcony. They were going through renovations when we were there in winter 2026 and the elevator was out of service but staff offered to take our luggage up the stairs.
