Excellent location. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and were very willing to help in any way. Breakfast was an excellent Japanese style served in the room. Will definitely be back when i come to Koyoto.

At the behest of a friend, I checked our family into a ryokan (traditional inn) for our maiden trip to Kyoto. The Japanese hospitality of the staff, traditional breakfast every morning (server to your room), your beds made daily and sleeping on the mattresses on tatami flooring and public bath are good experience.

Love the spread of in room breakfast , it was delicious and beautifully presented Bed not as comfortable, but we were the one who opted for traditional Japanese style bed Got a room w private bath , but it’s really small Have to praise all the hotel Ryokan staffs for being efficient and accommodative on our request , and in mourning for breakfast , they are extremely prompt Location was great, walkable to close by attractions

A unique chance to experience a traditional Japanese stay, futons were surprisingly comfortable and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming.

Staff were great, lots of shopping and eating nearby. Facilities are a little old, but clean and very comfortable.
