Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had a big variety of choices

excellent onsen, comfortable and clean room, right next to central park, best location in town. fast wifi, friendly service and convenient parking

The room was cozy, spotless and at a great location; spatial, compared to relugar business hotel; the staff onsite were attentive and helpful. One of the staff even helped me to make reservations at a local restaurant because I didn't speak Japanese :) and I had a great dinner and conversation with the host and fellow diners with the very limited Japanese I have + Google Translate ha. The onsite onsen was a cherry on top. I replaced morning run with morning hot spring - what a great way to start the day of excursion . I will stay here again next time visiting Kagoshima.

Everything was great. The room was spacious. Old charm. The food was spectacular. I loved my stay there. Food was great and service was excellent.

Hotel is quite old but well maintained and clean with very helpful and friendly staff. Though it has the word onsen in its name, the hotspring was a disappointment with only one hotspring pool and nothing else, not even an external hotspring pool. But the hotel is very well located with the Tenmonkan Shopping Districr just beside it. Driving to the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal only takes five minutes, and many dining places are within a ten-min walking radius.

The traditional Japanese rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was elaborate and very good. Great location, close to many shops and park. Only negatives were that the hotel did not have laundry facilities, and the room key had to be left at the desk when leaving the hotel - this meant that if there was a line when we returned,we had to wait to get the room key. This was a real pain.

건물외형에 호텔명이 영문으로 적혀있지않으므로 지나칠수있더라구요. 리셉션에는 영어가능직원이 있고, 영어 안내문을 주기때문에 불편하지않습니다. 온천이용은 06-09, 16-23 까지 이용가능해서 이용시간 넉넉하고, 다다미방을 체험하기좋아요. 단, 전기포트는 없으므로 필요하신경우 따로 챙기시는게 좋습니다. 온천세는 체크아웃시 지불하고 저는 1인이었는데 1박에 150엔이었습니다. 온천때문에 선택했는데 위치도 좋았고, 편하게 머무르다갑니다.

I booked this hotel because I wanted to enjoy an onsen (which allowed hotels) and a traditional-style bedroom. It met both of those criteria, and was in a prime location to explore downtown Kagoshima City. I really appreciated that the staff kept our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. Plus, they helped call us a taxi when we were heading to board a ferry at the port.
