Amazing location, clean and the pool was great

Upscale hotel in the bustle of Hanoi. Definitely not expected in the location. It's within walking distance of central business districts, entertainment, and local culture. About a 10-15 minutes walk to the night market and beer street. It has a rooftop pool overlooking the city, very beautiful in the evening. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Valet workers were very attentive, even when we were getting on our grab, they would help assist. The only issue we encountered were tiny ants on our bedsheets, but could have very well been from our traveling. We booked 3 rooms, only 1 room had the ants. We called the hotel service and they came up right away and changed the bedsheets. A surprise cost for us was the additional charge of a $100 per night for the extra person in the room. We booked a room for 3 people on expedia, however, when we arrived they charged us for the additional person to put up a cot. I thought it's included in the expedia booking since we clearly stated 3 people. No other options but to pay it. The other locations (cat cat hill resort and topas ecolodge) we booked for the 3 people in one room through expedia didn't charge us for the extra cot in the bedroom. We would stay here again.

Great hotel. I had an end room that was missing the typical hallway entrance and it was labeled as a suite, but it seemed like a regular smaller room. The room was nice, with a massive marble bathroom. Comfortable bed and good AC. The pool was great, and there was also an amazing indoor jacuzzi next to the pool that seemed to get ignored, but it was actually quite nice with cooler water and quite big. The hotel entrance outside was stunning, especially at night. Great location in the old quarter and walkable to most places. Hotel was pretty quiet throughout my stay so I slept well. Staff all seemed friendly. The rooftop is beautiful with great views and the staff up there were lovely, even when they had to deal with a storm rolling through. Only thing I didn’t like was the room service. It wasn’t open part about 9:30 and the food I did order was pretty disappointing. Lots of great options nearby that I’d check out next time if I had more time. Overall nice hotel.

Where to start...Staff totally friendly, helpful and courteous. We were treated like royalty. Property and rooms were well maintained and cleaned daily. You know that saying location, location, location. Perfect spot to be in Old Quarter but still peaceful. Breakfast buffet is outstanding! I am sad we did not get to dine at one their speciality restaurants. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat!

Nice gym and very good bfast. We didn’t use the pool but it looks good if you like that. Great location for Old Quarter.
