This is a not miss experience. 5 star luxury. Stunning rooms, beautiful exterior and interior with a Javanese theme. Fabulous views. Great food and room service. Stunning views, two crystal clear, large infinity pools with lots of loungers. A stunning, lush forest environment. A really nice sunset, sunrise private view point. A great spa with many treatments. But the best part? THE STAFF! Kind, accommodating, patient and will do anything to make your stay memorable. They also help arrange any trips and adventures. I felt like a queen! I’m already planning on going back. Well worth the money, don’t miss this resort!

Very very attentive staff that were amazing. They organized our rather last minute trip to Borobudur for a vip sunset tour. It was fantastic. Food at the in house restaurant was awesome and shout out to the tempeh. The views were amazing and the infinity pool is a must do. It’s hard to make time for activities within the hotel as you will prolly head out to the temples and merapi. Do try a massage as well!

beautiful hotel with a nice view. large balcony and friendly staff. its in the jungle and you can breathe the fresh air. wish we can stay longer. maybe some other time ..

Very warm staff and great amenities

The setting and the onsite pools were fantastic. The room was fabulous and very clean. The view was outstanding.

Villa Borobudur is set in a stunning location, nestled in beautiful green forests with views of distant volcanos. It had 2 large pools with infinity edges, overlooking the scenery. Staff at Villa Borobudur couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with warmth every time we had any interactions. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out batik while my husband and son had great fun at a cookery class. We also enjoyed a hike and I would thoroughly recommend a guided cycle trip through the local village and market.

Ideal location to visit Borobudur. Go online and book a ticket to get to the top of the temple as numbers are limited. Hotel taxi service perfect. Infinity pool a good size. Get up early to see the sunrise over mount Merapi.

What a beautiful resort with amazing view of sunrise, Borobudur temple and mountains from the infinity pool, bedroom balcony and the other side of resort, surrounded by mountains. Infinity pool with incredible view was and well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food and drink were surprisingly so delicious and cheap. They gave my daughter cake ice cream and candle for her birthday. Such a lovely gesture. Thank you for your service. Free shuttle bus to and from Borobudur temple was nice. We will be back.

Unique beautiful location in the mountains overlooking Borobudur and volcanic mountain range in tranquil setting. Villas are private and comfortable. Staff is wonderful and attentive to all requests. Infinity pool with unsurpassed views of below valley and mountains.
