A beautiful bit of luxury. The dining was awesome A Michelin Star quality 👍 The renovation is good but I miss the garden which was just gorgeous (they inform me they ll be getting the garden back. Of course the views of the sea is spectacular.

In my opinion, the property is not of a standard that we expected and is overpriced. Disappointing because it was not so in years past.

Just gorgeous. The food in the restaurant was unbelievable, the views incredible. Highly recommend.

Fantastic setting, amenities were great

We booked this hotel through Expedia and upon arrival , without being informed we ended up being placed in a pet friendly room . I have allergies and immediately became congested and my eyes were burning and puffy after being in the room a short time. We were told by the staff that they were not responsible because we booked with Expedia and that was the only room we could have. Needless to say it was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience . We won’t be back !!

It was an incredibly relaxing stay complimented with a beautiful view, access to the beach and a top tier restaurant where I had the most amazing steak dinner.

The rooms were unique, there was a fire place and living area, little coffee bar with Nespresso coffee and organic tea. The decor was updated and it didn't feel like a hotel room, it was enjoyable and relaxing. The furniture was modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a room on the 1st floor with a deck, we watched the moonlight on the ocean and sunrise in the morning. It is a true place of relaxation.

Amazing property. Special place

Overall the Sooke Harbour House had a feel of a luxury boutique hotel/resort. It was so enjoyable to stay on the property for sunset drinks on our room's deck, then a short walk to the dining room for an elegant meal either in the covered patio area or dining room. The bed was so comfortable with crisp sheets that it was hard to have to get up in the morning! But a nice stroll of the property and adjacent nature walk with a coffee and delicious pastry made in house from the attached coffee bar was a great way to start the day - followed up by yet another amazing meal for breakfast before we carried on on way. We will definitely be back for another stay in the fall when we can enjoy the room's fireplace while we watch the ocean's tide roll in and out. The staff were all so wonderful!
