Amazing views, incredible staff, wonderful food, and excellent onsen. Worth it!

Our stay at Senpokaku was a highlight of our trip, offering a perfectly peaceful and silent atmosphere. Situated on a hill, the hotel provides a great sense of tranquility and an absolutely stunning sea view from the room. We found the room itself to be very large, clean, and comfortable, offering plenty of space to relax. While the indoor and outdoor onsen facilities are relatively average in their design, they were clean and served as a nice way to unwind. The dining experience, however, was exceptional; the breakfast was very good, offering both great taste and a wide variety of choices. Above all, the staff were incredibly lovely and welcoming, making our stay feel very special. It is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for comfort and a beautiful view in Toba.

All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Not everyone spoke english, but they all did their best to assist us. Rooms were quite and cozy. And its the best breakfast buffet you'll ever experience.

The indoor and outdoor onsen provide different experiences of onsen. The view from hotel is amazing. The hotel provides excellent service. My mom fell to the ground and got injured when crossing street. The lady from hotel provides us ice bag and medicines for my mom. They are super helpful.

Very good

This was a very economical stay in a very nice property. The room was spacious and had lots of extras like snacks, a hot water urn for tea, a fridge and all the toiletries you'd expect. The view was very good from my room! The futon was already set up when I arrived, which was appreciated for a rest before dinner. As with others I'd say it's a bit dated but that doesn't detract from the stay. Lots of additional amenities on site but not all were open due to the coronavirus. These included a bar, cafe, karaoke room and games arcade. The outdoor onsen was lovely, and not too hot, which they often are! The grounds are also beautiful to walk around. Breakfast in the morning was small but quite a good selection of different Japanese and Western choices. The crayfish miso soup is worth a try! The one minor negative point is that they offer a shuttle bus to and from Toba station because the ryokan is up a hill, but they don't advertise this so it was a long walk up there to check in! Otherwise a very pleasant stay!

Hotel was accommodating in that they kept our luggage after we checked out and even sent us to the JR Station after their designated scheduled shuttle timing. Great view from hotel, spacious room and lovely onsen too.

We had a great time. Service was good , the room was spacious and ONSEN was great!!!
