An older property but very clean and comfortable and one of the affordable properties we found in Banff.

Perfect location to catch the bus into downtown Banff or all along the Roam Shuttle root. Floor was a little dirty, only able to notice due to the baby crawling around. However a good overall room and amenities.

Was a great stay and a lot nicer than the last time i stayed there 15 years ago when it was Bumpers. Will definitely stay there anytime i go to Banff.

We didn’t have time to enjoy neither the spa (which is in the hotel on the other side of the street) nor the patio. But it was clean and we were given free tickets to use the bus which was great. Good stop!

Parking may be limited

The property needs some upgrades outside to make it alive and bright, outside was just so dull, dark and empty also we have stuff inside with dusts that's why i rated it 3, room has ample space which I appreciate. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent and friendly staff!

Very cute room with great vibes! Felt very clean, and wonderful, kind staff. Private room access was great, and beautiful views from the outdoor hot tubs.

It was fine for a price.

Located at the very beginning of Banff town, the Dorothy Motel was great value for money and a small but perfectly formed room. Nice touch from the owners at the canoe hotel where you check in by giving you free Banff bus travel and access to their hot tub. Loved this! Beds comfy and well designed interior made for a great room. Only downside was the noise!! The air con was ridiculously noisy and even when we turned this off, the noise from the room next door was so loud sleep was difficult! It didn't help that there were public roadworks directly outside the motel at the time of our stay that included concrete drilling at 8am either but this of course was not the motels fault! Without the noisy air con it would have been 9/10. Due to the noise it's sadly 5/10.
