Quirky little hotel at decent location, 2 min walk to NTU Hospital MRT station, the only downside is the lift, which is mighty slow and smallest I have even seen, as the building is quite narrow, the steps are super steep too. So if you have bad knees it might not work out well for you. Room also small but functional. This is really like a backpackers hostel

We stayed in the family room with a window which can accommodate 6 adults. I traveled with my 2 boys and husband and the room was large enough for us. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms comfortable beds. The interior is cute and cozy. A bit of tlc needed. Very convenient location. Right next to the Taiwan National Museum and MRT red line. A 5 min walk to the Taipei Main Station and malls. 10-15 min walk to Xinmendeng Night Market.

It can be inconvenient if your room is on a higher floor, as you’ll need to carry your bags either up the stairs or use a small, slow elevator. On the positive side, the beds are comfortable.

Convenient and walkable distance to restaurants and attractions, helpful staff.

You can tell this used to be a pretty good hostel and there are still some great things about it. However, it needs some tlc (tender loving care) to get it back up to par. Based on photos we saw, it looks like the lobby used to have a place to sit and change your shoes. That would be great, since you have to remove your shoes before entering each time. The carpets in the hall and stair areas need work. Staff seems to store cleaning supplies, bags of linens and other things along the all the guest hallways. Our beds were awesome! So comfortable! Nice big window in our room looking out at the park. The a/c worked to cool our room on hot humid days. The room could use a little storage for toiletries and small items and also a small closet. The two tiny table/desk areas needed cleaning.

Friendly staffs. Great location - red line (national hospital station) within ard 2mins walking distance; green line (ximen station) and blue line / express airport train line (taipei main station) are within 7mins walking distance. Clean and showers are superb!

The rooms is clean, staffs are helpful. Location is near MRT. Near by have many foods store to eat. Overall Excellent. It will be good if their Wi-Fi system can have single Wi-Fi system instead of group by level. So that can use the Single Wi-Fi system to access every where. If the rooms have single story double beds definitely is a plus.

Sunny Hostel was an amazing accommodation choice! The staff were helpful and nice, the location was a quick 3 min walk through a park to the closest MRT station, and the room was exactly as pictured and described! Definitely would recommend Sunny Hostel!

Greeted by super friendly staff at the reception and helpful giving suggestions on where to go. The room was a good size and clean, and had a great view of the park. Location is excellent, a short walk from the mrt station through the park. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
