Comfortable, clean room with adequate parking. A pub with adequate dining is next to the hotel. Close to railway station. Air conditioning struggled to heat room and there was a damage at the bottom of the entry door that allowed cold air to blow in. Sufficient amenities for a few days stay. We liked the use of door code instead of keys.

Ideal fully equipped kitchen, great bathroom, lovely couch and TV in addition to dining table.

I am a long term guest at seymours. It is always nice to see the team again as they are very pleasant and accommodating people. The building is old like majority of ballarat and has its quirks. The rooms are very spacious, well resourced, quiet and safe. They are always very clean. I will happily return again. Thankyou.

Great place to stay and so close to the town. Was able to walk to many places. Lovely warm and quiet room

Convenient location and large rooms

Dismissive unfriendly staff who don't know how to respond to a guest saying "hello". Room refresh each day was lack lustre. I do not recommend this hotel. Do not be fooled by the charming photo of the old house. Yes, it's part of the hotel, but most of the place could never be described as charming.

Great locations and staff were amazing. I feel the room was very comfortable and clean. I do believe the hotel does need to do a makeover as its showing its age and the paint is peeling on the ceiling.
