Room was large and spacious, decor was great for the historic theme. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was quite large as well. Parking is relatively cheap compared to other hotels in downtown Detroit. Only complaint would be the curtain choice in the room - east facing room with only lace curtains. Double check that you have your sleep mask if that will be a difficulty. Looking forward to an opportunity to return and stay longer so I can enjoy the public areas more.

Such a beautiful place to stay at, with equally beautiful people. It was cozy, and downtown was easily accessible. I have no doubt I’ll come back here.

Our room wasn’t very clean and it overshadowed everything else. When we pulled back the bedding, there was (body?) hair on the sheets and pillows. Further inspection revealed the same in the shower & on the bathroom floor. Sasquatch may have stayed in our room the night before, but it’s their job to erase that! Was pretty gross :/. Property is obviously super close to Little Caesars which was convenient. Linens were good quality. Breakfast was simple but good. Nice & helpful staff. Parking lot was interesting… they jam as many people in there as possible. I was charged $29, not $25 as advertised. Street parking availability ends at 8pm, so you’re forced to park in the lot. Someone hit my car door thanks to the sardine situation out there. All in all, I would look elsewhere next time.

Delightful to stay in a mansion turned into an bed and breakfast right in the middle of downtown Detroit.

Beautiful unique property in great location. Denise checked us in and she was awesome! Parking was nice too.

If you are going to a Lions or Tigers game, you can't beat the location. Easy to walk to either stadium or the downtown area. The property is a beautifully restored mansion.

what a beautiful inn! We were in town for a concert at the Little Caesars Arena. I wish we could've stayed at the 97 longer. When I return to Detroit, I will definitely stay here again.
