Location of the hotel was great as it’s very near the train station plus convenience shops and restaurants are nearby. The breakfast food were simple but tasty and the room was small but functional. Drawbacks were we asked for an extra pillow but was denied for reasons unknown. The breakfast place was also way too small for the size of the hotel.

We found the breakfast venue a little cramped. We had to wait until some of the guests were finished eating before we could sit down. Some of the guests sat with their chairs out from the table so that left little space to navigate together from your seat to the various stations.
The items in the breakfast menu were good.
The person who greeted us was very friendly. She made checking in very easy.

Rooms are good, beds are fine but pillows fell short. Only hard ones.
Everything was clean.
Unfortunately, I lost the breakfast window.
Surprised that lobby doesn't have a lounge nor sofas to receive guests or visitors.

We have stayed in Toyoko Inn in different prefectures. So far experience has been wonderful hence we chose Toyoko Inn again when at Tochigi.
However, in terms of making overseas guests feel welcome is one aspect that Tochigi Ashikaga Station Kita can further improve on.
