Very very friendly staff. All were excellent and very helpful.
Great location. Very fair price. Tidy hotel. Decent free breakfast included.
Only downsides:
No ev chargers (not the end of the world as metrocentre is nearby and has plenty)
No AC in the room
Carpark could get quite full and didnt seem the most secure
My biggest pet peeve is the lack of power sockets at both sides of the bed. Not the only hotel i’ve stayed at with this issue! I just have no idea who decided to design hotel rooms like this.
Overall very useful stopover for a trip to Scotland.

Good value stay, with an ok breakfast. Our only complaints were the beds were a bit small, and you could only get heating to run for 2 hours maximum. Our room was like a fridge when we arrived at 9pm. We got it comfortable by 11pm, then realised at midnight we were freezing as the heating had cut out, so we had to turn lights on and reset the timer for another two hours of heat. All felt a bit Dickensian. Reception seemed a bit grumpy when we arrived, but check in was otherwise ok. Breakfast manager was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine for a freebie.

Cold breakfast. Stayed at the liverpool hotel on duke street this one is not in the same league. Staff were excellent room ok. Parking good.
