It was great stay for family of 4

Basic hotel. Rooms clean but small. Bathroom in need of a little maintenance. No bar and outside courtyard space very disappointing. Didn’t take breakfast at €15 each - instead used the excellent ‘Breakfast’ lovers, a few minutes walk away. Staff on front desk friendly and helpful when asked. Hotel in very good central location, but on a steep hill. Very quite within the hotel, except the rumble of the 28e tram.

Good breakfast nice little room nice spacious lobby and courtyard. Street outside the door was dirty and shabby, like many parts of Lisbon

We liked the breakfast and courtyard. It was next to lots of dining and historic sites. The staff was very helpful with storing luggage and ordering taxis.

The property sits in the Alfama district of Lisbon. The oldest and most historic district of the city. It is quaint with stunningly beautiful views of the city. We were told by a staff member the hotel was the first convent founded in the city, hence, the name Convento do Salvador. This hotel is in a very narrow and steep cobblestone street. Some taxis and Uber drivers do not go down to the hotel to pick up passengers and it is necessary to go up to one of the main thoroughfares to get the Uber. If you have difficulties walking and/or climbing, this, perhaps isn’t the place for you. However, we found it quaint with an inner courtyard, comfortable with a mi ima list and modern vibe, clean and with warm, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was wonderful. I would stay there again!
