Unfortunately the AC was not working during the heatwave of last weekend which I understand does happen but I had phoned on the Wednesday to check there was no problem and was told there wasn’t unfortunately this seems to have been a lie we was given two fans but they was not enough it was stifling and hard to sleep the two nights we was there .Calin on the reception was exceptional helpful at all times but there is only so much he could do .maybe a offer on discount on the cold drinks at the bar would of been nice . But I will go back but I will definitely check the AC is on and hope that they don’t lie to me again

Friendly staff. Great sized rooms. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately, property advertised as having air conditioning which is only available in the lobby areas. Rooms only have a type of climate control that does not help with extremes of weathers. They did signpost on arrival that all cooling systems were down which was unfortunate due to the heatwave present.

No air conditioning working.

The air conditioning was broken and my room ranged between 30 and 32 degrees even with the window open and a fan. The staff did what they could but don't stay there in this heatwave unless it's been fixed.

This stay was awful! The aircon in the room was broken and it was impossible to sleep. The staff were helpless and it’s not their fault. I expect a full refund from this stay. It was a complete disgrace

No air conditioning I would not have stayed there if I’d known but the hotel never informed me before we arrived Room was unbearable Good breakfast

The rooms were very hot no airflow. Airflow not working. Not a good experience.

AC for the whole building was out of order during a heatwave but no warning until literally at the front desk (I'd even called to ask about parking and not a word was said then either). I went to the room long enough to see if it was bearable and it absolutely wasn't, the room simply wasn't useable. I had to find another hotel - fortunately I hadn't paid Hilton in advance so I didn't have to fight about that, but between the extra cost of that room, the higher cost for parking and the taxi for my OH to get to the new place, that broken AC cost us £62. Won't use Hilton again - it was so cynical, they were clearly just banking on guests getting there too late or not being able to find/afford anything else

Sadly we were informed about the Air Con failure on check in, but absolutely no apologies nor any suggestions of redress. We undersand that the temperature was extreme but it was not handled well by reception. An apology would have been the minimum, but even on check out this morning, reception were extremely poor in communicating apologies, a smug sniff with a smile and not apologies is frankly an insult to paying guests. The printed document on reception was not enough. We expect better from a premium brand. upset and disgruntled
