Take a taxi from the niseko or kutchan stations. Do Not take train to Hirafu station and walk unless you like to hike.

The rooms were spacious and came with a furnished kitchen. There was a separate room for the beds and they had a small dining area as well as a lounging area. The room we booked had a great view of Mt. Yotei as well! The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the center of Hirafu where a lot of the restaurants are located.
The ski valet is on the second floor of the hotel and it is just a short walk to the King Gondola. You are able to ski right to the entrance to the ski valet of the hotel after a skiing, which made it very convenient. You could also leave your skis and boots at the valet in the middle of the day to take a break before going back out for night skiing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The concierge was very helpful with booking complimentary rides to and from the Hirafu Welcome Center, which is where the shuttle buses drop off/pick up passengers. They were also very prompt with their emails about any inquiries.
The onsen was very clean and not super busy. The hotel provides a complimentary private onsen session, but we didn't feel the need to use it as the onsen was never crowded.

極佳 Walking distance to ski slopes. Nice touch with the ski storage area that also included trying your boots and gloves. Laundry was included, access to reserve the private onsen, and the breakfast buffet had a variety of options to start your day right.

Enjoyed the lavish buffet spread with fresh sashimi and international food! Great private onsen. Friendly staff. Only one small downside is traveling with kids we can’t sleep together as have to split to two bedrooms and it’s separated by a wall. And also have to travel abit for dinner
