Not the best but not the worst by far

The stuff service was excellent, they were helpful. The property is so old, I have never come across a hotel room as derelict as this one.

My room was good as expected.

Absolutely love it here. You get what you pay for and the staff are wonderful. Live locally but visit when I can. My 13 year old daughter has down syndrome and loves the pool . I'd live there if I could. (So would Daisy).

The family room what we got smells like a tobacco, outdated furnitures. The bathroom I do not think was cleaned as a bug was smashed on the top of the tiles and was still there. The pool was outside so you need to walk there a bit so if is chilly day is not the best, and people are always left open the door.Check out just drop a key to the box in reception and you ready to leave.Overall for 70£ 1 night stay we survived but I don't think we will be back. Rather pay more and get a minimal standard.

The hotel is comprises of a main building and some houses and annexes. Sadly, the room we were given was in a damp annexe, and to our surprise when we opened the door there was someone in there! The receptionist apologised and gave us another room in the main building. The room was ok and clean, but we didn’t have water to shower either so our experience was overall okay. There is also an indoor swimming pool that seemed nice but we didn’t manage to use it. We didn’t try breakfast either but it seemed like the traditional type. The dining room seemed quite nice. I have to highlight the friendliness of the staff during our stay.

Grubby dirty run down hotel. Receptionist was lovely. She swap my room cause it wasn’t cleaned but the second was bad too . I was ill and needed paramedic the next day . They wanted to charge me for the extra time and never even bother to check on me . Avoid!

Excellent hotel, parking easy and free great location.

Very old and tired property.
