The ONLY reason I booked this hotel was that on Expedia there was the icon of free airport shuttle. I contacted the hotel about 8 hours before arrival and they said they require at 48 hours advance notice and even then it’s on first come first serve basis from 8am to 4pm. If their small mini van had no space that’s too bad. I asked if they could arrange air port shuttle for me at check out they said they are sold out for anything in the afternoon They were quick to offer private taxi service ( they likely have kick back arrangements). This kind of false advertising is frankly disgusting Hampton inn was cheaper and had free airport transport but I thought Dakota had better star ratings so I made the terrible mistake. I will never trust any other Dakota property

We booked this hotel primarily for its proximity to the airport, and its free airport shuttle. We weren’t expecting a luxurious stay, but that’s what we got! From the hotel decor, to the cleanliness and decor of the rooms, to an amazing dining experience at the restaurant, to the great customer service, to the ease and luxury of the shuttle, this hotel experience was five-star!

The blind in my room (101) wasn’t big enough for the window. I didn’t get a good sleep because of the light that was shining in. Between that and the noise on the first floor. From early morning there was lots of doors slamming. This went on throughout the morning. Perhaps it was other guests leaving early to go to the airport, or work. Either way, this has put me off of staying in this hotel again. They should have quieter floors for guests who are not leaving early in the morning. The fact that the blind didn’t fit the window was unacceptable, especially in a 4 star hotel. I expect better.

Friendly staff, nice modern hotel. Didn’t eat there so cannot comment. Shower could have been more powerful. Bed was comfy. Pricey given it’s a good way out of Edinburgh (but we did book at just a few days’ notice)

Convenient location for easy access to Edinburgh. Comfortable room. Parking. Next to a large supermarket. No fridge in room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at this wonderful hotel. The clean, modern rooms and friendly, helpful staff made our visit stress-free and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful, newer hotel, modern vibe. Closer to the airport. 15-20 minute walk to Queensferry. Chose this hotel because it's close to the airport and has a shuttle. Easy walk to Queensferry for dinner by the water for our last night, but you can eat in the hotel. Lovely area.

The room was wonderfully comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was prompt and we were relieved to have something taken off our plates in terms of planning on how to get to the airport. We had a great and restful stay!
