Best stay and service

Upscale and comfortable hotel - very central our room had a balcony and a view of forbidden city. We eat twice in the bar with cocktails and very nice indeed if you are after something a bit more western at end of the day. (Hotel does have other restaurants too).

Staff was very helpful during the stay. Found the amenities to be good. Stayed in one of the suites It was spacious and comfortable, but some of the stuff looks a little worn. In room dining was good. Drinks at the downstairs restaurant were also good.

The ceiling on our room needs badly repairs .

Great hotel an great location

Located in a central point in Beijing, shopping malls are within walking distance, the stafff extremely helpful with advice on days trips, costs, car hire, everything you need for a first time visitor and accommodating for all languages

I stayed five nights at the Waldorf in a premier room overlooking the street. The room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was enormous and very modern. The hotel service was top-notch, especially Caffrey the Concierge. He was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions about Beijing, especially since it was my first time there. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Beijing, just a 10-minute walk from the Forbidden City. There are also many high-end shops and department stores right outside the hotel. My only suggestion is that the breakfast lobby can get quite busy in the mornings due to the limited space and food choices. Otherwise, there’s nothing negative to say about the hotel.
