We love a good historic hotel, and the Hawthorne fit the bill. Our room was spacious & the vintage bathroom tiles were very fitting. We enjoyed visiting the bar and the cozy vibe it provided!

Love the Hawthorne! It’s pretty much the only place I stay in Salem. The Tavern is a great place to meet people and share a meal.
Hotel is historic but very clean and modern.

The Hotel was charming. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and large as well as the bathrooms. The location is prime location. My only complaint was the bed. The bed was lumpy and terrible. I tossed and turned and woke up all night. In the morning I had so much back and neck pain.

低於平均 I booked the room on the wrong day and it was the same day that I tried to book it for the 17th of September. When I realized I booked it wrong an hour later. Neither Expedia or the hotel would help me. So I paid over $400. And didn't even stay there. And I wasn't looking for a refund just to change the date and nothing
