Ashbourne House was such a great find on Franschhoek, it was close to restaurants. Our room was very spacious and clean. Parking was just off the street but seemed secure. Breakfast was delicious with good choices from the menu. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the guest house, they had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We loved the selection of snacks, cake etc that was available to help yourself in the dining area. So good when you came back after a days wine tasting to have a snack before going out to dinner.

This property is located very close the wine tram station, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious, room was large and staff super friendly

Wonderful hotel in beautiful Franschhoek, excellent breakfasts on the terrace, very large and comfortable bedroom. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice gardens with a swimming pool.

Beautiful room, good sized and complete with a small fridge. Very clean, but the mattress was a bit hammock-like. Breakfast was wonderful - delicious and lots of fresh fruit! Beautiful pool area, but so many ants on the lounges we got several bites.

Cannot fault a thing. The room was gorgeous, the customer service from Cindy and the team was excellent and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe

Exceptional place to stay. Room was superb, breakfasts were great and the location was perfect. The coffee/tea and cakes in the afternoon was a treat. The staff were lovely.
