Rattling doors, and badly maintained shutters in the room. probably the best views from the pool,

We went for our honeymoon and this resort was absolutely incredible. Everything from the transportation at the airport to the resort to the overwater bungalow was amazing. Definitely book reservations prior to going. The food was amazing! The breakfast that comes with your stay was excellent and so were the restaurants. Through the app you can have constant communication with the staff and because the resort is quite large they will pick you up in a golf cart and bring you to and from anywhere on property. The Polynesian dinner does fill fast so reserve that ahead of time too. If you’re wanting a romantic couples massage experience request the glass floor room. It was amazing getting to look down and watch all of the fish while you are getting a massage. The kayaks and paddle boards are free to use whenever and there is concierge to help book excursions. The bungalows were absolutely incredible! 10/10 recommend and we seriously can’t wait to go back again

Amazing place…highly recommend. Only down side is food is so so for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is amazing at the buffet!!

Given the name, reputation and the price level, the Four Seasons Bora Bora was somewhat of a disappointment. Yes, it's a prestigious hotel with one of the best locations in the world, amenities and services to match, but the Four Seasons also comes with high level expectations which were certainly not met. While the food was top quality, the selection less so, especially at breakfast. The buffet offered exactly one type of juice-not sure if it was fresh or not, and one ice tea. One juice at the Four Seasons? Two other resorts we visited on this trip offered 8 and 6 juice kinds respectively. The fresh fruit and other item selection was also good quality, but limited choice. We have had better options at some all-inclusives in Mexico. The transfer to the main island when leaving was an unpleasant experience curated by incompetent staff. The boat was leaving while our luggage was still on shore. Luckily we noticed and they had to come back to retrieve it. The boat staff also had an unpleasant, begrudging attitude when we reached the main island. We had to request our luggage specifically, otherwise it probably would have been left on the boat. Some customer service training might be useful for these particularly disagreeable staff. Lastly, while the rooms were beautifully designed, decorated and spotlessly clean, 8 out of 10 pillows on the two beds had a funky, musty, cheesy smell. Luckily there were two that were actually useable. Perhaps they could change them more often?

Staff is amazing! Service was great! Food was good! The only negative is booking excursions through the resort! Do not book through the resort you be charged double sometimes almost triple the price if you went through Viator or Expedia. A $500 excursion on Viator was $1700 through the four seasons.

Best hotel ever. Everything you hear and read about this hotel, all true. Staff very kind and hospitable, bungalows are picture perfect. Great breakfast. The lagoon sanctuary is the best to relax by the water. Already planning to return, but this time with my kids.

Our overwater bungalow with direct views of Mt. Otemanu was beyond anything we could have imagined — waking up every morning to that iconic silhouette rising above the lagoon felt surreal and cinematic every single time. The service was simply impeccable. Every single member of the team went above and beyond — warm, genuine, and incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. This is hospitality at its absolute finest. Breakfast deserves a special mention: the variety and quality were extraordinary. From fresh tropical fruits to beautifully prepared hot dishes, it was a true feast — and one we looked forward to every morning. And the spa? Perched with those unobstructed views of Mt. Otemanu, it’s a meditative experience as much as a wellness one. We left feeling completely restored, inside and out. If you’re considering it — stop hesitating. Very well maintained grounds. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. A couple of areas needing repair around the exterior of the rooms with siding falling off. The ice machine was broken for the duration of our stay, but was working again as we were leaving. The service members would bring large buckets of ice to our room though. Tanya found us walking and stopped on her golf cart to ask us if we wanted a ride. By the time we reached our room, she had us set up for two dinner reservations. She was very friendly and helpful. Don't miss the dinner show if you can help it, it was great!
