The room was flooded in silience from the shower floor, and the carpet is wet. My son got significant allegic reactions due to this.

My experience at this property was extremely disappointing from the moment I arrived. The staff member at the reception desk did not acknowledge my presence or greet me. I had to ask, "I'm here to check in. Is this where I need to go?" before anyone assisted me. Unfortunately, the check-in process only got worse. The receptionist who checked me in was rude, abrupt, and unwelcoming. When I asked if someone could assist me with my luggage, I was simply told they did not provide that service. Thankfully, the security officer stepped in and kindly helped me with my bags. He was the only staff member who demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. The room itself was unacceptable. It had clearly not been properly cleaned. The bed linens did not appear fresh, and the bathroom was filthy. Basic amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, and iron were also missing, making the stay even more inconvenient. Overall, the cleanliness, lack of hospitality, and poor customer service made this one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I would not recommend staying here.

The food in the bar was nice, the check in staff were polite and helpful and the room was spacious and a good sized sink and shower. Disappointingly the tv only had one terrestrial channel and no Sky or digital channels (the hotel in Maastricht had loads including BBC1 and BBC2) and there were only two small pillows on a very large bed. The location was geographically really good - right opposite the railway station (Gare du Midi) but its not the most salubrious - not the hotel’s fault.

The carpets need to go. Old and not very clean. I have allergies and needless to say the entire stay my throat was flared. The staff was great and helpful. Breakfast was descent. We unfortunately had a room on the first floor which was loud. A/c was barely functional. It worked but the room was never comfortable during the heat wave. The hotel is dated, needs a bit of a lift. We ate at the restaurant on our last day and the food wasn't great, I had mushroom and chicken risotto 3 tiny squares if chicken and my risotto was still hard. My daughter had the spaghetti Bolognese, which was ok. If in a pinch I'd eat there, but not as a choice.

It’s €20 to get a breakfast. You can store your luggage in a locker that cost €950 a day there’s no coffee or anything. The towels were really old. The air-conditioning barely worked. it’s not in the best part of town, but it is quite near the train station so that was nice. They say they have a breakfast but they don’t. You have to pay extra.

the hotel is one block from the train station but the area is not very safe and dirty . the hotel itself is in good condition and clean .The stuff was helpful and nice .

Very good price and well placed location.
