The location is great. Close to everything in the Montery, Carmel By The Sea area. Older place, but the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good for me as I love waffles, but my wife had limited choices. There was coffee, but nothing else to drink. Disappointing

The location is perfect and so is the price. There is a trail right across the street that takes you to the amazing beaches of Pacific Grove. The hostess was kind and friendly and rooms large size with all basic amenities listed in the description. The Wi-Fi worked fine and everything was functional and was there. Good restaurants are walking distance. I will stay here again and again. It was a great find.

Don’t know how we missed this spot! We have been coming to Pacific Grove for over 40 years. This is our first time at Pacific Gardens Inn! We have literally stayed at all of the other accommodations around them. Well we have missed out! What a gem! From the most welcoming from desk staff to the wine in the lobby at 5 to the lovely continental breakfast in the morning…. Wow! And the housekeeping crew is second to none! The coffee is great! They even had an air popcorn popper with popcorn!!! And the wood burning fireplace…!!!!!! Thank you to all of The Pacific Garden Inn staff! We will be back many times!!!

Excellent location, clean room, I would definitely go again.

Clean newly renovated rooms, peaceful surroundings and quiet property. Saw deer family near the property and close proximity to the beautiful Alisomar state beach. Breakfast has waffles daily, coffee, cocoa for the kids. You can see the sun setting over the trees from the windows of the 2nd story room.

Liked the cleanliness and size of the room! It was able to fit a family of 5 very comfortably. It was a perfect location for the activities we had planned.

Staff was very helpful. Although dated, the room was clean, large and comfortable. Suggestion would be to have a ceiling fan to help move air a bit.

The facility has some age on it, but it is well maintained. The location is a little out of the way, but it is close to a beautiful stretch of rugged beach. Unfortunately, the weather was not what we expected as it was overcast and hovering in the 60's. Maybe more research on our part would have had us better prepared. There was only one decent restaurant within walking distance of the hotel, but other eatery options were not too far of a drive. The breakfast was above average with a couple of tasty pastries and other typical items. It was scenic and relaxing location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle.

We stayed in a w room suite with a kitchen, while the place it a bit more rustic and not new, we all could not have been happier with everything! From friendly staff to little extras, kitchen was well stocked to make it easier to use while traveling, and the fireplace was even ready to use and pre set up. We had a need for the extra sofa bed. They had that pre-made too! Only tip for me was i had to pull the sofa mattress to the living room floor. Then it was a solid option! Slept like a baby once i did that! Also very dog friendly and we were there during fawning season...so many deer!!! What a treat. Will stay there again for sure!
