Lovely stay

Lovely hotel in great location . Room was spacious and well set out . We opted for a club level room . Not worth the extra for a couple of glasses of cheap nasty wine . We booked dinner and breakfast . Dinner menu had a good selection and what we ordered was delicious . Breakfast … all I can say is stick with the cold stuff . English breakfast option was dreadful . Cold and most of it inedible. No probe check observed in the 45 minutes we sat there .,

Good room with huge comfortable bed. Shower not so good. Breakfast absolutely 5*. Nice gardens. Very expensive bar

Room clean. A great pity we had a leak from a grill above the bathroom door. But it was repaired. Staff very helpful and professional. Breakfast superb , plenty of variety. Bar staff good. Overall a pleasant stay.

We stay several times a year at Crown Plaza, it has never once let us down on anything. Rooms are spotless as is the rest of hotel, bars and outside areas. Breakfast buffet has a wide and varied choice always fresh and hot equally there is a fantastic cold buffet too. Bars both inside and out are cheery and inviting. STAFF, a great big thank you to you all for making our mini breaks so restful, peaceful, enjoyable and special, you are a credit.

I booked two rooms, and the one my friend stayed in had a blocked toilet that made the bathroom out of bounds. When I found out about this the next morning I was not happy, and less happy still when it had not been dealt with several hours after reporting. That said, the staff did their best to make the stay better than toilet-gate would normally have suggested, and so my abiding impression was neutral. Positives of this hotel is the large car park, and its close proximity to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Excellent stay where everything was clean fresh and as expected

The hotel is very nice, and the rooms were spacious. The lack of AC was a problem during the hear wave.

I checked in my colleagues did also we all paid on same day. Checked in on same day they both had ac rooms and I had 1 fan on the hottest day of the year.
