Great property. The check in process was a bit lengthy - not enough reception staff.

Very nice

The Star was convenient to the conference centre which was our reason for booking but otherwise you would only go there if you were going to the casino. The room was small and a bit run down. There were some holes in the ceiling that we had to ask to get covered. There would be better places to stay if you are holding in Broadbeach.

Well we came to celebrate my wife's 64th, after 6 months of chemo. We got a lovely suite on the 14th level, access to the Executive Lounge on the 21st level, $100 in complimentary food. Breakfast in the Harvest was brilliant. Dining downstairs is excellent. Casino is great. Comfy king bed, spacious rooms with views. Why go elsewhere? We'll be back..

Room and facilities were first class, definitely going back soon.

Clean convenient and friendly

Star Casino presents well. Positives: - food choice - ABBA show in theatre - locality to Broadbeach - better customer service this time, felt like a customer, not someone who owed gratitude to customer service reps. Not so Positives: - ABBA show 1st half, the sound setup wrong, couldn't hear the singers - room toilet too low for sitting - no fresh orange at breakfast, and would have preferred English Bacon. If it wasn't for the 'Not so positives', would have rated 5*

Everything was good

Staying here allowed quick and easy access to our conference at the Convention Centre next door. The casino bars had $5 house wines and beer, winning! There was also a walkin bistro in the Casino offering very affordable meals. If you have your actual licence card, you can get a STAR member card allowing 10% discount too, and you earn points for what you spend. This was VERY convenient as we didn’t need to go out to eat. The Pacific Fair shops are a quick 15 min easy walk too. Amazing facility close to everything. Staying in a room with 2 double beds allowed my colleague and I the opportunity to share, again a cost saver! The concierge team were helpful too.

The only thing impinging on our stay was the car park. We had great difficulty finding the way out. There were very few signs (2 that I saw), and these small and faded. We drove round and round for 10 minutes, up and down the levels, without finding the exit, and getting increasingly frustrated. At last we managed to follow another visitor out. Please invest in some more, larger, and brightly lit signs. Apart from that issue as we left the hotel, everything else was great. Staff at the entrance and check in were wonderful - pleasant, helpful and efficient. Nothing was a problem.
