Service was good. Room was nice and clean.

Ron brought room service - thank you! Very kind a friendly staff. The hotel is in the center of Modesto, close to the train tracks. The train passes through about every 2 hours with a loud whistle at night. So every 2 hours you are being woken up by the train. I has to stay another night and asked if there is a good hotel close by which is quieter. Front desk staff, oh, if you had a room to the other side, it would have been much better. I initially asked for a quiet room, why would you not automatically assign to the quiet side?

My stay was very good. All amenities were stocked and I really enjoyed the rest at the pool area. Thanks!

We love it here! Lots of parking! Clean, nice, etc! Everytime we come to Modesto or nearby cities we always stay here and will do the small commute to come stay here! The best cookies too, haha.

Everything was pretty good! The food the pool the staff were really friendly and helpful and they’re complementary cookies were delicious!

Nice and friendly staff. Pool was cold but it’s Modesto. Modesto is usually hot. Breakfast was good. A little above continental breakfast. Dinner was good.

struggles w/the Expedia app and no hot water at Double Tree

This one is simple. My booking pictures did not match the room i received. The amenities promised not delivered. The few things that mostly mattered to me. My booking amenities say there is a microwave. However there was no microwave in my room. I stay in the bay area in hotels frequently, and many hotels there do not have microwaves, which is why its the first thing i make sure a room has along with a fridge. Second, the booking said it included a roll in shower and had a picture of an amazing bathroom with glass all around the shower with no step or tub. No roll in shower and didnt match the bathroom on my booking at all. (Just a regular bath tub shower with a shower curtain, dont let the pictures fool you) classic bait and switch. Last but not least. I stayed for 3 days and not once did my room get cleaned, housekeeping never touched my room or even asked to clean. Not even a knock. (They advertise daily housekeeping in room booking) Oh yeah and the lady at the front explained the parking across the street was 12 bucks a night, but if i wanted to move my car from the street to the garage, she would validate my parking, making it free. Well she validated it and when i checked out... I had multiple 14.00 charges on my credit card. The hotel is pretty nice for modesto. Just didn't get what I paid for. Kinda feel like i got swindled on my room amenities and the parking.
